This recipe is surprisingly easy, even though it doesn’t seem like it. And the result is just great for that little work. The ingredients can be changed depending on preferences, but I think it is perfect as it is.
Ingredients
- 2 liters milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 40 milliliters lemon juice
Directions
- Line a colander with a kitchen towel.
- In a fitting pan over medium heat, bring the milk to a simmer.
- Once it simmers, remove it from the heat and add the lemon juice and salt. Immediately stir quickly but gently for about half a minute.
- Pour the mixture into the colander. Drain for at least an hour, or longer, depending on how you like it.
